Can't wait for Cask Days 2012? Join us at some of these great events leading up to the main event. To celebrate October as Cask Month in Ontario the last pour from every cask at each of these events will recieve a Cask Days 2012 session 3 ticket!
For the last three years, we have partnered with our good friends at Beau's All Natural Brewing Co. to officially launch cask month in Ontario at their Oktoberfest celebration. This year featured 48 cask ales from Quebec and Ontario microbreweries.
Cask Days is excited to partner with Brewers Backyard this year to help stimulate cask-ale in the province. Brewers Backyard will be featuring a Toronto edition of Beau's Oktoberfest. There will be one-off casks and available in limited quantity. Cask Days will be on site selling tickets and promoting this years festival at the Brickworks.
Great Lakes will host a special Cask Days edition to their monthly Project X held at their brewery. Project X will feature 3 casks from Amsterdam, Nickelbrook, and Great Lakes from 6:30pm to 10:00pm. There will be a $10 cover charge at the door. . Cask Days will be on site selling tickets and promoting cask ale. Food provided by MELT.
A BEAUTIFUL FALL AFTERNOON ON THE PATIO OF TORONTO'S NEWEST Brewery, BELLWOODS FEATURING 10 CASK PINS FROM ONTARIO. Join us on Saturiday, October 13th between 1:00pm and 4:00pm. This will be a ticketed event.
Lets not forget where cask days started and what styles of beer are traditionally brewed on cask. Pre-cask days will feature traditional british style ales all week long leading up to the main event.
HALF PINTS BREWING CO. HAS BEEN RUNNING THE WINNIPEG BEER GAME SINCE AUGUST 2006 AND ARE COMING TO TORONTO FOR THE FIRST TIME TO FEATURE FOUR OF THEIR BEERS ON CASK at BAR VOLO. OWNER AND CO-FOUNDER NICOLE AND THE HALF PINTS CREW WILL BE PRESENT
On the eve of Cask Days 2012 we will be tapping a special cask of howe sound pumpkin eater - imperial pumpkin ale with the owners and brewers present. We will also have a pumpkin carving contest where the winners will have their pumpkin art featured at Cask Days 2012.
Cask Days 2012 will host our ceremonial Breakfast with the Brewers at Evergreen Brickworks on Saturday, October 27th, 2012 from 9:00am to 11:30 am . Join us and over 75+ brewers from across Canada for some delicious food and a toast to begin your Cask Days experience. This years breakfast will be provided by the following contributors;
